Overview
This course will equip you with the skills and knowledge to identify, assess, and control workplace health and safety (WHS) risks. It is designed for individuals who contribute to WHS processes in their workplace, particularly those in supervisory, team leader, or safety-focused roles.
By the end of the course, you will be able to:
- Access and interpret WHS legislation and organisational procedures
- Identify and assess workplace hazards and risks
- Apply appropriate risk control measures
- Contribute to the development and implementation of risk control plans
- Communicate WHS information effectively with stakeholders
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of risk controls
Duration: 12 hours
Entry Requirements
- Students are required to provide ID on the day of training
- Students must complete a Language, Literacy and Numeracy quiz prior to enrolment.
