Pre-requisites
Students may be required to undertake a pre-enrolment assessment to determine their suitability for this study level
Be employed in an industry relevant role.
Completion of: CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or;
Completion of: CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or;
Completion of: CHC30408 Certificate III in Disability PLUS the CHCSS00125 Entry to Certificate IV in Disability Support Skill Set.
Course structure
The Certificate IV in Disability Support has a total of 10 units of competency required to complete the qualification.

CHCDIS018 Facilitate ongoing skills development using a person-centered approach

CHCMHS001 Work with people with mental health issues
HLTWHS003 Maintain work health and safety
