  • Overview

This course provides the mandatory general construction induction training required for anyone who wants to work on a construction site in Australia. Successful completion of this unit is a legal requirement under Work Health and Safety (WHS) legislation and leads to the issuance of a White Card, which is recognised nationally.

By the end of the course, you will be able to:
  • Identify WHS legislative requirements for construction work
  • Recognise construction hazards and risks
  • Understand the roles and responsibilities of duty holders
  • Follow safe work practices and use personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Respond to incidents and emergencies appropriately

  • Certification: Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive a Statement of Attainment and a Statement of Training (SOT) from us, which will allow you to start work on a construction site anywhere in Australia. The statement is valid for 60 days, but most cards are issued by SafeWork NSW in less than 30 days. This certification will remain valid unless you have not worked in construction for a period of two years or more.
