Entry Requirements
  • Students must be aged 18 or over.
  • Students must complete a Language, Literacy and Numeracy Quiz prior to enrolment.
  • Students are required to apply for an Assessment Enrolment Number (AEN) through their MyServicesNSW account. This involves completing a Proof of Identity (POI). Further Information: Apply for a high risk work licence assessment enrolment number | Service NSW
  • Students need to bring their AEN and an identity document with a photo to the course.

  • Other Info/FAQs: First Aid should be refreshed every 3 years and the CPR component every 12 months

    Overview

    This course specifies the skills and knowledge required to safely operate a forklift truck in accordance with Work Health and Safety (WHS) legislation and workplace procedures. It is a High-Risk Work Licence (HRWL) unit, and successful completion is a mandatory requirement for individuals seeking to obtain a forklift licence in Australia.

    By the end of the course, you will be able to:
  • Plan and prepare for forklift operations
  • Conduct routine checks on forklift trucks
  • Operate a forklift truck to move, lift, and place loads safely
  • Identify and control hazards and risks
  • Shut down and secure the forklift after operations

  • Certification: Upon successful completion of this course, you will receive a Statement of Attainment from us, and after successfully completing the HRWL Assessment on Day 3, you will receive an email from SafeWork NSW with instructions on how to apply for your licence.
