Overview
This course specifies the skills and knowledge required to safely operate a forklift truck in accordance with Work Health and
Safety (WHS) legislation and workplace procedures. It is a High-Risk Work Licence (HRWL) unit, and successful completion is a mandatory
requirement for individuals seeking to obtain a forklift licence in Australia.
By the end of the course, you will be able to:
Plan and prepare for forklift operations
Conduct routine checks on forklift trucks
Operate a forklift truck to move, lift, and place loads safely
Identify and control hazards and risks
Shut down and secure the forklift after operations
Certification: Upon successful completion of this course, you will receive a Statement of Attainment from us, and after successfully completing the HRWL Assessment on Day 3, you will receive an email from SafeWork NSW with instructions on how to apply for your licence.
