Course structure

Packaging rules:
​12 units including:

  • 1 core unit
  • 11 elective units
  • 7 units must be selected from the listed electives
  • 4 units may be selected from the listed elective units, or any currently endorsed Training Package or accredited course at the same qualification level
  • 1 elective unit may be selected from a Certificate II qualification and 2 elective units may be taken from a Certificate IV qualification.

Elective units must be relevant to the work environment and the qualification, maintain the integrity of the AQF alignment and contribute to a valid, industry-supported vocational outcome.

Course Fees:
New traineeships commencing from 1 January 2020 are fully subsidised by the NSW Government under Smart and Skilled.

For traineeships commenced prior to 1 January 2020, student fees are capped at $1,000 with the remaining qualification price subsidised under NSW Smart and Skilled.
